African Violets in the Kitchen

My African Violets from a special little friend.  Enjoy!!!

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to my kitchen.  I just wanted to take a minute and share the beautiful violets that I have on my kitchen window sill.  I received these beautiful flowers over a year ago from a little boy I had in my pre-school class at the daycare I worked at.  When I retired he gave them to me.

They have outgrown the original pot they were in and are growing out of this pot as well.

Enjoy the flowers.

Thanks for stopping by and visiting me here in my kitchen.  You are always welcome so stop by any time.

Love, Hugs and God Bless,
Janet (Kristy and Abby's Nana)

A Marriage Made in the Oven

Hi Everyone,

I know it has been a while since I posted on my kitchen blog, but I want to share with you what we had for supper tonight.  I called it "A Marriage Made in the Oven" because I roasted a stuffed chicken that I wrapped with bacon and basted it with chicken broth and orange juice.  My family loved it and the chicken was tender and moist.  Below is the menu:

Bacon Wrapped Stuffed Chicken
Orange Juice and Chicken Broth Gravy
Mashed Potatoes
Red and Green Pepper Stuffing
Corn
Cranberry Sauce

Dessert
M & M cookies
Autumn Pumpkin Spice Danish

Thanks for stopping by my kitchen and visiting, you are always welcome here.  Come by any time.

Love, hugs and God Bless You,
Nana (Kristy and Abby's Nana)
